Patient instruction, real results
Pathfinder Driving School is based in Berwick and teaches across 60 suburbs in Melbourne — helping learners of every age and background find their way to a licence.
Why we teach the way we do
Learning to drive should build your confidence, not test your nerves. Every Pathfinder lesson is one-on-one, in a modern automatic car with dual controls, taught at your pace. We never rush, never shout, and never book you for lessons you don't need.
We teach automatic only, which means your lessons focus on the things that actually get you licensed and keep you safe: road craft, hazard perception, parking, and the real routes examiners use at your local VicRoads test centre.
What every lesson includes
- Honest, upfront pricing — lessons from $70, with no hidden extras.
- A structured plan — we track your progress each lesson so you always know what's next.
- Test route practice — real routes around your local VicRoads test centre.
- Flexible times — 7 days a week, 8am to 6pm, including weekends.
- Test day support — warm-up lesson plus use of the instructor's car on test day.
Meet your instructor — Sam
Every Pathfinder lesson is taught by Sam, the founder of Pathfinder Driving School. Learning with the same instructor every lesson means your progress is never lost between sessions — Sam knows exactly where you're up to, what to work on next, and how you learn best.
Who we teach
First-time learners on their Ls, nervous drivers rebuilding confidence, new arrivals converting an overseas licence, and licensed drivers who want a refresher — if you want to drive better, we can help.
